Forza Horizon 5 | Game Informer Live
Xbox exclusives are coming in fast over the course of the next month, with Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 speeding onto Microsoft’s consoles and PC next week (or this Friday for those who bought the Premium Edition or Premium Add-on). This anticipated holiday release was released early by Playground Games. We were able to test drive it and share our experiences in Mexico’s lush and detailed environments.
Enjoy today’s edition Game Informer Online as John Carson and Marcus Stewart take to the streets and become the superstars of this year’s Horizon Festival. The stream is set to start at 2 p.m. Central, exclusively on Twitch, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Brian Shea was our senior editor and thoroughly enjoyed this motorsport spinoff. He found it visually stunning as well the many activities to be captivating. This is an extract from Brian Shea’s review.
Forza Horizon 5’s Mexico driving experience is a joy thanks to the superb dynamic driving mechanics. These take into account the weather and terrain as well as the handling of more than 500 cars. Forza Horizon 5 is a great example of this with an amazing opening sequence where cars fall from planes to land in different biomes. These include sandstorms or snaking streams, as well wide open straightaways. The music plays throughout. Horizon emphasizes both the exceptional mechanics and differences in handling as you cruise around the globe.
