Fortnite’s bringing Street Fighter’s Blanka and Sakura to the game

Street Fighter’s newest characters are Sakura and Blanka. FortniteBlanka will be wearing a suit on Thursday to increase the number of concurrent players, which I believe will reach 7.7 million. That’s right: Blanka from Street Fighter 2 wears men’s business suits now. It’s okay to get used it.

For Blanka, that means the Brazilian fighter’s original shorts and shackles look, but also the besuited Blanka Delgado alt style, which Epic Games says is inspired by Rival Schools’ Bowman Delgado, which … doesn’t seem accurate at all if you look at Bowman, but we’ll let it slide, because they put Blanka in a suit. Blanka also gets a fruit salad ax (“Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe”) and the Blanka-Chan Back Bling, plus a backflip emote.

Street Fighter 4The Victory Sway will emote if you look closely. (You know, Sakura’s groovy win dance.) Sakura’s outfit includes a Fighting Tournament Trophy Trophy pick ax and a Back Bling that is inspired by a claw machine. The Kayari Buta glider was also included. It is modeled after an incense burner made of ceramic to repel mosquitos.

Epic Games will hold two versions of a Blanka & Sakura Cup in FortniteThe first is for mobile only and will take place on April 27. While the second, which is open to all platforms, is for everyone. You can get the Bonus Stage loading screen for top performers in your region. It features Blanka or Sakura doing street justice to Peely who may have parked in a disabled parking space. This is not the best look for a banana man.
