Everything Assassin’s Creed Announced During Today’s Ubisoft Forward Showcase

Today’s Ubisoft Forward was mostly about Assassin’s Creed, and it had a lot to talk about. Mirage details were revealed and new games were introduced.

Let’s get it right from the top. 

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

This game was officially revealed last week following extensive leaks, and as expected, Ubisoft had a lot more to share about it during today’s Ubisoft Forward showcase. Basim IbnIshaq is the master assassin in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. But he’ll take the lead this time. His journey as a thief through the beautiful and varied streets of Golden Age Baghdad, 861, to becoming an apprentice to the Hidden Ones is the focus of this game. The game also returns to its roots with heavy inspiration taken from the first Assassin’s Creed title. You can find more information about Ubisoft’s Mirage reveal here. 

Assassin’s Codename Red

Finally, Assassin’s Creed is headed to Japan. Ubisoft calls it Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, although the official title is not yet available. The game is set in Feudal Japan and will become the mainline title. This seems to indicate that this will be the next Assassin’s Creed title after Mirage. Ubisoft has not revealed much more about the game but did state that the title will be launched within Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Codename Red is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. 

Assassin’s Creed Infinity

Ubisoft revealed that Codename Red and Codename Hexe, another Assassin’s Creed game teased today, are coming to Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Ubisoft revealed today that Infinity is not a game per se, but a portal for future Assassin’s Creed games. The “hub” will connect the company’s various experiences with its players and in “meaningful, meaningful ways.” Ubisoft, according to the showcase, is looking at ways to bring multiplayer back to the series. This will be done through separate multiplayer experiences that are part of the Assassin’s creed universe and can be connected via the Infinity Hub. 

Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe

Assassin’s Creed CodenameHexe received a brief teaser trailer. It seems that it may be pointing towards horror and witch hunts. Ubisoft Montreal (the birthplace of Assassin’s Creed) is currently developing Codename Hexe. The teaser trailer suggests that there are secrets to be discovered in the codename Hexe, so get started looking!

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, Ubisoft’s mobile Assassin’s Creed video game will feature all “iconic Assassin’s Creed gameplay” but is optimized for a unique experience [with]Touch controls For the first time, the game will allow players to design and personalize their own assassins. Ubisoft says you’ll be able “coming soon” on mobile devices to climb the Great Wall of China.

Assassin’s creed Valhalla: Chapter Last

Ubisoft has announced that it is ending the adventure of Eivor in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This will happen with one more quest arc called The Last Chapter. Ubisoft says it ties up some of the remaining storylines established throughout the game’s narrative, and it will reunite Eivor with key characters, including some with historical significance. Ubisoft has not revealed when The Last Chapter will arrive in Valhalla. 

Documentary Assassin’s Creed, 15th Anniversary

According to the company, it is releasing an Assassin’s Creed documentary. This will give viewers a peek behind-the-scenes at the past 15 years of Assassin’s Creed. 

Assassin’s Creed Netflix Series

Ubisoft had nothing to announce about the announcement. But, Ubisoft stated it is still taking place and that there will be an “epic live-action, genre-bending adaptation” to its series. Ubisoft also plans to release a mobile version of the game for Netflix’s streaming service. 

Everything Else

Ubisoft announced that an Assassin’s Kreed Symphonic Adventure concert was in the works, amid a rush of announcements about the 15th anniversary. So is an Amunet figurine, a podcast called Assassin’s Creed: Echoes of History, a new novel called Magnus ConspiracyThese webtoons include Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. 

Assassin’s Creed was all that Ubisoft Forward September 20,22 showed today.
