Dying Light 2 Stay Human Has Gone Gold Two Months Ahead Of Release

Techland announced Dying Light 2 Stay Human is now gold and ready to go production two months before its release date.

It spread the word to Game Informer A press release stated that the team reached the milestone this weekend. Techland’s press release also had some words from Tymon Smektała, lead game designer on Dying Light 2. In it, he speaks about how the work on the game isn’t quite done yet, saying, “The fact that the game is done and we hit the gold status two months before the release is a great sign but it doesn’t mean that our work ends here. While there are some tweaks and improvements to be made, as well as community feedback, the foundation is ready for play.

Although much of this work is done, there are still many things to do before people can enjoy the game. The achievement of shipping a video game is an incredible feat and something to be proud. Tymon says, “I’m extremely proud of the whole team!” Look at the challenges and successes the project has faced during a lengthy development phase. He ought to be proud of them all.

We are just a few weeks away from Dying Light 2 Keep Human’s next appearance. Techland Episode 5 premieres this Thursday in its new home. Living 2 Learn Series, which will show approximately 15 minutes of brand new gameplay. This will air at 12 p.m. Pacific via Techland’s Twitch channel.

Dying light 2 Stay Human is on schedule to be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It will also release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more on Dying Light 2, check out Brian Shea’s recent preview where he played four hours of the game.
