Dragonflight adds World of Warcraft trading post, “Storm’s Fury” event

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight big 10.0.5 patch, out this week, introduces the Trading Post feature, a new survival-themed event called “Storm’s Fury,” and some new rewards. Blizzard can use these patches of medium size to adjust the systems and rebalance classes. They also add breadcrumbs hinting at future content.

The Trading Post was revealed in December, and it’s been a well-received feature among fans so far. Located in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, it allows players to earn the new Trader’s Tender currency by logging in and completing challenges. There are cosmetic rewards, such as Warden armor and a brand new mount.

Another nice feature for character customization is the ability to transmogrify items of gray and white quality. These cosmetic items are low quality and have no stats; players can equip them, but it’s hard to adventure in a humble dress or simple pair of adventurer’s leather gloves. These low-key looks have been a desire of players for ages. Now they can.

The Storm’s Fury event can be accessed via the Temporal Conflux portal in Thaldraszus. With a stacking cold buff from the frigid weather, players will have to navigate the Primalist past. The scenario triggers once every five hours and heroes must find heat sources to survive. This event awards Essence Of The Storm which can be traded to solid gear, a pet or a toy and a mount.
