Disney’s new Haunted Mansion trailer is full of Disneyland ride references

Take a look at the 2003 Haunted Mansion movie starring Eddie Murphy? No? Well, that’s probably for the best, because despite the compelling setup, it was completely forgettable (and also spoiled the entire dang story in the opening montage).

A second chance at the big screen is available for one of Disney’s most loved attractions. The new Haunted Mansion film is coming soon, with a greater emphasis on iconic haunts and other moments from the attraction. Park enthusiasts will enjoy the first teaser, which reveals some small nods. The stretching room! Jared Leto portrays the Hatbox Ghost. The bride attic!

Haunted MansioN stars Lakeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish are Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito. Chase W. Dillon is Chase W. Dillon. Dany Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto are the Chase W. Dillons. The story follows the adventures of a mother and son who live in a haunted house and hire a group paranormal investigators.
