It’s amazing to be able to play with others from all over the world, but there’s something special about being able to play games with your friends and loved ones right by your side.
The ability to run local races was an important feature that we wanted to introduce in Disney Speedstorm and the team has worked tirelessly to have this feature, which we call “Local Freeplay,” available on day one of early access starting on April 18 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

Local Freeplay will give you access to a huge collection of Racer and tracks the minute that the game is loaded for the first. You will have access to 18 different Racers, including Mickey Mouse and Mulan.
Local Freeplay will include 9 different racetracks, including Toon village, The Silver Screen and The Castle.
It was very important to the team that you could play how you want. Local Freeplay players will not only have the ability to access all customizations, but also to access their racer list. Included are racing suits and kart liveries as well as wheels, wings, and wing designs.
But that’s not all! You’ll also be able to customize the race experience the way you want it. You will have the option to choose the racetrack and circuit, as well as the number (up to 8) of laps, AI opponent difficulty and number, at the launch of Early Access on April 18.
