Diablo 4 Stronghold locations — Dry Steppes

You can also find out more about the following: Diablo 4In total, 15 strongholds are scattered across the map. This includes three for each region. In the Dry Steppes, you’ll find Watchtower Onyx, Temple of RotThen, The Ruins at Qara-Yisu. These Strongholds each have their own unique storyline and enemies that you must defeat. After finishing the Stronghold event, you’ll gain access to either a new town, waypoint, or side quest.

Altars of Lilith can be found in all three of the Dry Steppes Strongholds. They will boost your stats, and give you some renown.

What Are Strongholds In Diablo 4?

In Sanctuary, Strongholds represent points of interest which have been taken over by the evil. Strongholds are located in different locations, each with their unique objectives, storylines, bosses and puzzles. The Strongholds begin as hostile territories which you and the rest of your team must clean up. After you have completed the mission and eliminated the bad, you will be able to view other players.

When you conquer a Stronghold, you’ll gain experience, rewards, and Renown, which can be used to unlock additional rewards such as skill points and health potion charges. Once completed, the Strongholds can become towns complete with NPCs. Although not all Strongholds will turn into towns, clearing them may unlock shortcuts, side quest hubs, or dungeons.

Come prepared to play with equipment that is a level or two above the character you are playing as.

Stronghold Onyx Watchtower

Onyx watchtower, a bandit’s fort. North Central Dry Steppes. It will then add another Waypoint to the map.

1. Visit the Onyx Tower.
2. Remove the bandits from their camp and burn it down.
3. Slay the Captain’s lieutenants.
4. Watchtower: Find Captain Ezmin.
5. Slay Captain Ezmin.
6. Rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine to conquer the Onyx Watchtower.

Stronghold Temple of Rot

Temple of Rot, a fort filled with cannibals located just outside the city. The east of the Fields of Hatred PvP zone.

1. Kill the Cannibal Champions
2. Locate Molqarth’s Lair.
3. Slay Molqarth.
4. Molqarth spawn: Slay them.
5. Rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine to conquer the Temple of Rot.

Ruins at Qara-Yisu Stronghold

You’ll find the Ruins of Qara-Yisu in the Southeast of the Dry Steppes Region. By clearing the waypoint, you will be given a brand new Waypoint.

1. Explore the Ruins Of Qara-Yisu
2. Find the Infernal Spires and destroy them.
3. Investigation of disturbances at mine
4. Slay Utulku.
5. Rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine to conquer Qara-Yisu.
