Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted’s 5 new Exotics and what they do
Destiny 2: Season of the Hunted is here, and it’s brought with it at least five new Exotics.
Two new Exotic weapon pieces and three Exotic armour pieces are available at the moment. The season pass includes the Trespasser’s sidearm, and the Duality dungeon will include the Heartshadow sword. The Titan Exotic is focused upon Void 3.0 while both the Hunter Exotic and Warlock Exotics have Solar 3.0 benefits.
While it’s always possible Bungie could be hiding an Exotic quest later in the season, these are the only five Exotics currently in Season of the Haunted’s Collection. The daily Lost Sector is where all armor Exotics originate, just like every other day. Here’s what each of the Exotics do.
Trespasser

The season pass includes Trespasser, the seasonal Exotic. Season pass holders can immediately pick up the card, while players who aren’t members of the league must reach season rank 35.
An Exotic Returns from the Original DestinyTrespasser’s performance has improved. The Exotic perk for Trespasser is Unrepentant. This allows you to reload after killings, making the next Trespasser burst stronger and longer (called a superburst). You can instantly recharge your weapon with the secondary Perk Be the Danger to get kills and load another superburst.
Trespasser can also obtain a Catalyst from Banshee-44’s quest.
Heartshadow

Heartshadow is an Exotic Void Sword from the Duality Dungeon. You can get it several times in the dungeon, which means you will be given a random Exotic. There are several in-game Triumphs that you can earn if you want to increase Heartshadow’s drop rate.
Exhumation is its Exotic perk. This causes the Guardian to suffer heavy attacks and full sword energy. It also makes them invisible, making it impossible for him or her to fire explosive Void projectiles. Shot in the Dark, the second perk of the Guardian’s Exotic Perk, grants Heartshadow bonus damages to those who stay invisible for extended periods. This buffed state makes it less effective to use projectiles on the target.
Second Chance (Titan gauntlets).

Void Titans can be upgraded to Second Chance. Its Exotic perk is Myrmidon’s Reach, which allows the Shield Throw melee to pierce barrier Champions. You also get two Shield Throw charges.
Rain of Fire (Warlock legs).

Solar Warlocks can be enhanced with Rain of Fire. The Exotic perk of this item is Soaring Fusilier. This causes all weapon air to be reloaded and increases the airborne effectiveness for fusion rifles. Guardians are granted the radiant buff after final blows with linear fusion rifles or fusion guns.
Caliban’s Hand (Hunter arms)

Caliban’s Hand augments Solar Hunters. Its Exotic perk is Roast ‘Em, which causes Proximity Knives to scorch targets with splash damage or ignite on a direct hit. The knife can be thrown without it exploding, which increases weapon regeneration.
