Cyberpunk 2077 Getting Big 2.0 Overhaul With Phantom Liberty Expansion

CD Projekt Red presented a new video and spoke on stage at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live to discuss the 2.0 update for Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty. Phantom Liberty, a paid-for expansion will feature new storylines and Idris Elba. However, even if the player does not purchase the expansion, they will still receive a number of game improvements.

Video footage showed V, the protagonist of the game, launching from her motorcycle in order to smash into a crowd of enemies. The game will add new weapons like blades and guns, and the perks are being redesigned. The combat has been updated with a variety of animations. V was also seen throwing an opponent at another enemy in combat, and dashing mid-air. You can now hack and fight while you drive, the police will also call MaxTac in to help you.

This update and Phantom Liberty, the expansion pack for Phantom Liberty will both be available on September 26. Game Informer reviewed Cyberpunk 2077. Follow the link.
