Children Of Morta On PC Gets Long-Awaited Online Co-op On Valentine’s Day

The last generation’s Children of Morta was a great hidden gem. However, this cooperative dungeon-crawler has sadly lacked an essential feature: online play. Playing with a friend locally has been great, but now you can finally play with remote buddies – or maybe even a sweetheart – this Valentine’s Day. Assuming you’re on PC, that is.

The long-awaited online co-op feature between two players finally made its way to Steam on February 14. Don’t worry, console players: the feature is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, but developer Dead Mage doesn’t have a timetable on when that will happen. The team stated in a press release that it would like to see online play work well on PCs before releasing it elsewhere.

The Fellowship Sanctuary update will bring online co-op, which is the final part of their eight-piece DLC roadmap. This means that 11bit will end major support of the game, which first launched in October 2019, to a 9.0/10 review from us. Game Informer. A large group of warriors are the focus of this dungeon-crawling adventure game. They must all fight against an evil corruption.

In his review of the game, Editor-in-Chief Andrew Reiner wrote “I can’t stress just how smartly made Children of Morta is. The narrative flows smoothly in and out of dungeons, the characters have real life to them, and the gameplay is enthralling and has those addictive qualities that make you just want to keep leveling everyone up. Over the course of 15 hours, Dead Mage managed to capture my attention. The way family comes together for the final conflict is truly impressive.”
