Breath of the Wild’s world is being remade in Animal Crossing

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildIt boasts the largest open world of any Zelda and Nintendo games. These environments offer endless exploration opportunities, from vast deserts with billowing sand dunes and grasslands dotted with lakes to sprawling open spaces. This stunning environment is inspiring Animal Crossing – New HorizonsIt allows players to recreate iconic landmarks from around the globe, one area and one building at time.

You can recreate these vast environments by creating your own New HorizonsThis is not an easy task and poses serious design challenges. The Wild Breath It is an open-world, giant adventure. As you walk and climb your way through its world, the landscapes tower over Link — the mountains and giant Hyrule castle make Link feel tiny. But New HorizonsPlayers have come up with unique ways to recreate the sensation of being in control. The Wild Breath.

Animal Crossing players often focus on particular landmarks and locations to rebuild. This is Naydinfar’s account, which is mostly dedicated to this purpose. The Wild BreathConstructions in Animal CrossingShe created the Lost Woods. By playing with the perspective and adding lots of dead trees and grass, she’s able to capture the creepy and empty feeling of the Lost Woods from The Wild Breath.

New castle items were added in the 2.0 update, which gave players an opportunity to rebuild Hyrule’s castle. Naydinfar has posted a video showing the entire process of building the castle.

Here, we see Impa’s house in Kakariko Village recreated. The statues are positioned in front of the apples, just as in Zelda.

And here’s the Noble Canteen in Gerudo town.

But it’s not just that The Wild Breath’s world is large. It’s also filled with unique landmarks. One region, the Thundra Plateau is home to towering mushrooms-like rock formations that rise from the ground. Creators such as Narydinfar are able to find creative ways to depict the landmarks. The creator recreates the region’s terrain using literal mushrooms.

Other creators have taken inspiration from the atmosphere of the game’s world on their New Horizons’ island. The Wild BreathThis story takes place in Hyrule, a region that has suffered great devastation. The game features many areas with crumbling ruins that Link can explore. The build reproduces this look.

The game’s creators can also focus on particular items. Here, creator acnh.hylia recreated the Sheikah Bomb, and the famous cucco using customized designs and perspective illusions.

The Wild Breath isn’t the only Zelda game that’s inspired Animal Crossing players to recreate its look. Here, a streamer remade Link’s home in Link’s AwakeningThis looks fantastic given that the 2019 edition of the game is miniature. It also matches the visuals well. New Horizons.

New Horizons also has the perfect items to recreate the Witch’s Hut in Link’s Awakening.

Some others are trying to capture a retro feel, as seen from the skyline of a flying plane.

Official Zelda items came to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. However, New Horizons has yet to get an official collaboration with Zelda (and likely won’t since Nintendo said the 2.0 update would be the game’s last). Still, that hasn’t stopped creators from remaking areas in the game as well as making patterns to recreate Link’s outfit in the game.
