Aftermath Is A New Survival Horror Game Pitting Players Against An Alien Invasion

Aftermath: A survival horror title, developers One-O-One Games & Meta Publishing are being canceled. The player controls an astronaut returning to Earth from a mission, only to discover that the planet has been overthrown by aliens.

Charlie Gray is left alone after an unsuccessful reentry to Earth. But she’s driven by the singular goal of finding her missing child. She’s up against an intimidating extraterrestrial menace, specifically an invisible hunter tracking her every move. To survive, Charlie will need to outwit the foe while facing more serious threats like shambling corpselike creatures fighting in third-person over-the shoulder combat. Charlie may not be a soldier, but she is a brilliant engineer, using those skills to concoct blueprints for tools by examining everyday objects. She can be compared to a McGyver. As a survival game, managing Charlie’s nutrition, hydration, and mental health are vital.

Aftermath’s foreboding presentation and atmosphere come courtesy of artist Alessandro Bavari, art designer for Covenant Alien. This soundtrack features original songs by artists like Unkle and Planet Funk.
