Borderlands Tiny Tina’s DLC gets stand-alone launch free on PC

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, the campaign extension for 2013’s Borderlands 2The game will be relaunched Tuesday for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC as an independent title. This game will retail for $9.99 on consoles as well as Steam. It will also be available on Epic Games Store free for one week, until Nov. 16.

The games feature Tiny Tina, a sassy teenage demolitions expert and Ashly Burch as the games master. She is responsible for playing in an online tabletop role play game called Bunkers and Badasses

Tina creates a world that is free-wheeling and parodying fantasy tropes. She alters these to her will often. DLC’s original DLC received praise for breaking fourth walls, which completely subverts player expectations.

A statement Tuesday from Gearbox Software said the re-release will feature “brand-new loot and cosmetics.” The new game, due to launch March 25, brings A-list comedians Wanda Sykes, Andy Samberg, and Will Arnett to the cast.
