Banjo-Kazooie Joins Switch Online Expansion Pack Tomorrow

Nintendo revealed last month that Banjo-Kazooie will be joining the Nintendo 64 library via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack subscription. Nintendo stated that it would arrive in January. It is now known when. 

Twitter reveal that Nintendo announced Banjo Kazooie would hit Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pack in January. This means that you will have access to this Nintendo 64 classic starting tomorrow. Nintendo released this trailer to celebrate the announcement:

Next month, Banjo Kazooie will join the Switch Online Extension Pack and adds a Nintendo 64 library to the Nintendo 64 Library.

While the game is expected to join the service around January, it’s not known when exactly. The 1998 platformer is widely remembered as a standout game for the N64 (especially for third-party games) and among the most beloved games of the era overall. While the emulation of the Expansion Pack hasn’t been universally loved, it’s cool to see Banjo-Kazooie making its way back to the house of N. Given that Microsoft owns Rare, the only way to play Banjo was on Xbox, such as in the Rare Replay collection. 
 

Today, Paper Mario joined the Expansion Pack library.
