Avatar 2: The Way of Water finally set to release, really this time, on Dec. 16

It’s a big day for fans of AvatarThe James Cameron film in which humans attempt to find rich resources on Pandora’s alien planet. This long-awaited sequel will be released on Dec. 16. The Way of Water: Avatar. The movie’s trailer has been released exclusively to theaters. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness It will debut next week.

Over the past few years, we’ve seen occasional behind-the-scenes looks at the filming of The Way of Water: AvatarDisney, however has not provided any concrete information about the film nor the most recent release schedule. Since its initial 2014 release date, the film was delayed many times and has had to be rescheduled several times.

For those who don’t quite remember what happened in the original 2009 AvatarDisney plans to remaster the movie and release it worldwide on September 23rd. The sequel will still star Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, a former Marine who takes the role of the titular Avatar, which puts him in the body of one of the native Na’vi of Pandora. While Sully starts out as a spy among the Na’vi, he falls in love with one of them, Neytiri (Zoë Saldana), and eventually fights back against his own Earth military, which is willing to raze the planet in its obsessive, ruthless search for a rare metal known as unobtanium.

Sully and Neytiri return to the franchise for the next installment. Their family makes up a key narrative unit, not only in the series but also outside. Water is the WayBut in the planned plan for four sequels. We’ll have to see how Water is the Wayhow it does in terms of its impact on the film and whether the second one is just as good.
