Assassin’s Creed Mirage Coming In October

Ubisoft showed off a new look at Assassin’s Creed Mirage at today’s PlayStation Showcase. The trailer features protagonist Basim, who leaps, fights, and slides his way through the ancient streets in Baghdad.

Basim was introduced to Assassin’s Creed players in the earlier release of Valhalla, but this new game jumps back to an earlier time in the character’s life.

This action looks sleek and modern. However, it brings back memories of the early games of the series when players were able to control Altair and Ezio in large cityscapes. This new combat system is characterized by some impressive combat animations. In the trailer, it is also implied that there will be a variety of options for players to choose from when tackling a mission. These choices are outlined clearly in briefings before missions and they can then execute their chosen plans.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is targeting release on October 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
