Fans had been making castles in Animal Crossing since the game’s release in 2020. Creative players had to make do with alternative solutions, as they were unable to purchase castle-specific items. There were many options, with cobblestone flooring as common as medieval-looking fencing types. Nook Miles purchased Silos which were used as ramparts. With the introduction of farming in 2.0, players can simply combine silos with castle towers to make scenes that blend old and new.
