All Cyberpunk 2077 updates pushed to 2022

Cyberpunk 2077Last week, developer CD Projekt Red revealed that the Xbox Series X version and PlayStation 5 versions were being delayed to 2022. On Thursday, the developer updated its development roadmap — first published in January — with a more detailed look at the delay, showing there are no more expected updates for 2021.

Since then, the developer has published more than 10 patches Cyberpunk 2077’s troubled launch, which squash many of the game’s bugs. CD Projekt Red had originally promised that “multiple updates and improvements,” including the free DLC and next-gen console update following patch 1.3 in the remaining months of 2021. Patch 1.3, which included some additional DLC such as animations, quest options and cosmetic items, was published in August. The developer will release more DLC in 2022. This delay is to enable him to concentrate on quality-of-life issues.

More information about the new DLC is expected “in the coming months,” after the “most important fixes and updates” have been addressed.
