Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp launches for Nintendo Switch this April

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot CampThe Game Boy Advance Advance Wars: Advance Wars II: Remastered Version will be available on April 8th. Nintendo revealed the information Wednesday in a Nintendo Direct presentation. A new trailer was also released by Nintendo.
Highlights include voiceover for all of the games’ commanding officers. Graphics look shiny and are much more detailed than the original. A custom map generator has been added, and you’ll be able to share those maps with other players online. A fast-forward button helps speed up gameplay, and there’s now an option to roll back your terrible choices and re-do entire turns. Online and local multiplayer will also be available.
Re-Boot CampWayForward is developing the Nintendo Switch version of the app. This same team also developed the Nintendo Switch’s helm. DuckTales: Remastered Double Dragon Neon. The original E3 2021 announcement about the remaster included this: The remaster will be split into two campaigns that cover the events of Advance Wars Advance Wars 2 – Black Hole Rising. Both games have been “reimagined and rebuilt” for modern players, according to Nintendo. Expect many quality-of life improvements and better resolutions for your games.
Whether the game will take advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s touch screen is still unknown. It’s currently available for pre-order at $59.99.
