Accessibility settings and options in The Last of Us Part 1

Part 1: The Last of Us — a remake of the 2013 PlayStation 3 classic — brings some of the best features from 2020’s Part 2 of The Last of UsTo the original game. The long-awaited sequel is now available. Last of Us was divisive for both critics and fans, it vastly improved on the series’ accessibility settings.

These settings, as well some other new ones have been added to many of the sites. Part 1: The Last of Us, allowing even more gamers to experience Joel and Ellie’s first outing together. Below, we’ve listed out each of the game’s accessibility settings, broken up into six charts to go along with the six separate menus in Part 1: The Last of Us.

Alternative Controls

In the Accessibility Menu, there is a section called Alternate Controls. Part 1: The Last of UsThis mod focuses on improving the functionality of certain features, such as ladder climbing or repeated button pressings.

Camera Assist Automatedly reorients your camera in the direction you are moving. You can choose Horizontal, Vertical or both to restrict assistance. This option is designed for those players new to action gaming or who struggle using Right Stick and Left Stick simultaneously. Discount
Secure Your Goal Automatically locks-on to enemy targets while aiming. By default, targets the centre of an enemy’s body. To target the legs or head, use Right Stick. Magnifier for Screen Zooms in on a specific area of the screen. Double-tap the touchpad lightly to toggle zoom. You can increase zoom slowly with the second tap. This will lock the zoom level when you release the button. To move the magnifier across different parts of the screen, use the touchpad. To exit, double-tap again Discount

You can adjust how easy your character moves around the game by using the Navigation and Traversal sections of the accessibility menu. This section offers unlimited underwater breathing and automatic jumping options.
