AC Mirage Player Count In Line With Origins And Odyssey, Biggest New-Gen Ubisoft Launch

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released last week on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Both critics and players are pleased with this return to the roots of the series. Mirage, which features Basim, is smaller and more compact than the previous open-world RPGs. Ubisoft announced that Mirage has the same number of players as Origins and Odyssey. Mirage has also been Ubisoft’s most successful new-gen game in terms sales. 

Ubisoft also revealed some interesting statistics on what Mirage users have achieved in only six days. 

• The collective 479 years of parkouring on the roofs of Baghdad
• Sixty-million Leaps in Faith
• 1.2 million street cats pet

Ubisoft’s announcement reads: “We’re humbled by this positive response, as the numbers of players are in line with previous successful launches like Assassin’s Creed Origins or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.” We are also proud to share that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been the largest New Gen launch at Ubisoft in terms of unit sales (PS5, Xbox Series X/S). Congratulations to all the partners involved in this project and the Bordeaux Studio for their success.”
