We’ve introduced a few new features to the series and one of these new features is the ability to play as 13 different characters, each with their own unique moves and special attacks. It was our goal to create a game where no two characters played the same. Not only do they have unique stats but also different moves which change how you approach combat and your playing style. I’m going to give you a rundown of these fighters and their moves, Below you will find the official launch trailer..
Initial Characters
You can choose from four different characters to play the game. These include the famous Lee brothers Billy and Jimmy. Billy’s kick attacks are flexible and quick, but they do less damage than those of his older brother Jimmy. Jimmy has a strong fist attack but is slower.
Marian is also joining them. She can use her old glass cannon, which she used to be a cop with to do damage at a distance. Uncle Matin can help her out with his shield. Matin, a former soldier, unleashes devastating damage using shield attacks. After the battle, he enjoys a cup of tea.
Each character can perform three different special attacks once they have enough SP on their meter. The attacks are powerful and help you when there is a large group of enemies. An example is shown here with Uncle Matin’s special move list.
Sub-Bosses
The following are some of the ways to get in touch with us Double Dragon GaidenNine unlockable characters are available in the token shop. They can be purchased with cash earned from gameplay. The first of these unlockable characters are the game’s sub-bosses. They include:

Abobo can punch and smash his enemies using his enormous strength. -
Burnov uses the wrestling skills that he acquired during his days as a wrestler to perform moves like smackdowns and Bad Breath. -
Linda can easily attack enemies at a distance with her whip. She uses it to beat them and to pull them closer to be pummeled. -
Chin Tai Mei, a baton master as fast as lightning and able to perform spins, somersaults and rolls, attacks by using his batons.
Bosses
The next unlockable characters that you can play as are the game’s bosses, including:

Lady Okada is a master of the katana. She slices, slashes and gashes down her opponents. Her close-range Tornado attack, which draws people into her grip, and her distance attacks with her piercing sword make her difficult to beat. -
Unlike other characters, Duke doesn’t hide his animalistic side and performs moves such as the Charging Cougar and Vanishing Condor. Due to his background in martial arts, he is an aggressive fighter who is fast. -
You don’t get the name M.G. Willy is not called M.G. for nothing. Willy uses his machine gun to shoot and hit, but has many other military tricks at his fingertips. -
Anubis uses a staff to hit enemies far away. His staff allows him to confuse his enemies and strike lightning with ease.

– SHAPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND REWARDS – Adjust game difficulty to affect the amount of tokens earned per session and use those tokens to unlock content from the Token Shop including characters, tips, and more. The Modifier allows you to switch between infinite or permadeath mode.
– LOCAL CO-OP – Grab a friend and clean up the city streets together in local co-op mode that supports up to two players.
