Nintendo Reveals Animal Crossing Lego Collaboration

Nintendo teased the collaboration of its Animal Crossing and Lego series. A short teaser video today showed Lego-fied Animal Crossing favorites like Isabelle, Tom Nook and others. The teaser does not reveal what we can expect from Lego or when this collaboration will be available.

In the tweet that accompanies this teaser, it says “Welcome…LEGO Animal Crossing!” Isabelle and Tom Nook are shown in the video looking at the Lego Animal Crossing skies before they pull out to reveal more Animal Crossing figures. In classic Animal Crossing style, they are all watching the gift ascend into the air via a balloon. Someone get them some slingshots.

Nintendo and Lego aren’t working together for the first time on Lego set collaborations. For a number of years they have steadily released new Super Mario Lego set, and four Donkey Kong Legos sets were released back in August. Lego does not shy away from converting video games characters to Legos. Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO sets have been available for some time.
