Xbox Digital Broadcast Announced For Tokyo Game Show

Xbox announced that a digital broadcast will air at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan next month. Presentation will take place at 2 am PT/5 am on the 21st of September. ET.

According to Xbox Wire, the event will feature “progress updates from Xbox and Bethesda Softworks and see a creatively diverse collection of games from creators predominantly located in Japan and across Asia.” The event will also reveal new titles for Xbox Game Pass.

Final Fantasy XIV is the most likely to reappear, as it is headed to Xbox in spring next year to coincide with its Dawntrail expansion. The Xbox Games Showcase could bring back Like A Dragon: Unlimited Wealth. There are many big Japan-developed titles that will be released in the near future. It’s also interesting to see which Asian titles and companies it targets each year. 

Tokyo Game Show takes place from 21- 24 September. Publishers including Capcom Atlus Sega Koei Tecmo Square Enix Square Enix will stream livestreams of the entire event.
