How to get the Wild Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
You can also find out more about the following: Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of ZeldaThere are many pieces that you can use to create your own. Wild Armor set in the Depths, and while it might not be the prettiest armor in the game, it does provide a ton of defense when it’s fully powered up.
This outfit was initially the reward when you completed all the shrines. Breath Of The Wild, so the game notes that it’s familiar to you — and it fits perfectly!
All three pieces of the Wild Armor — the Cap of the wild, Tunic of WildThen, Trousers Of The Wild — are found in the skulls of skeletons in the Depths. You will have to battle a few creatures, namely Horrors You may also run into skeletons that have a spine hanging on the inside. Also, you may run into Gloomy HandsThe skeletons can be approached from different angles (and, thus, as a Phantom Ganon) We avoided some of them by using Zonai’s hoverbike.
Cap of the Wild location

Unfortunately, the closest entrance to Depths Chasm is Hyrule Ridge Chasm located west of Runakit Shrine. We built a hoverbike with two fans and an steering device, and floated carefully up the mountain. We stopped at lightroots on the way. Muotue Lightroot and Kato seem to be equally far from the chest that contains the Cap of the Wild.
The technical term for this isThe Rito village chasm may be closer to the chest of treasure, but it leads to an area that is closed. So don’t go down that one in hopes of being closer to the Cap of the Wild.
The cap starts at +4 defense before it’s upgraded.
The chest piece of the Tunic (the Wild) is located
It is important to note that the word “you” means “your”. Tunic of Wild is in the southwest most part of the map in a skeleton’s skull at the approximate coordinates (-4878, -3721, -0458):

Brightblooms may be needed to illuminate this area, even though we lit the entire map.
East Gerudo Chasm is the nearest chasm to enter the Depths. It is located to the south from Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. The Kasari Lightroot is the closest lightroot.
Just like the cap, the tunic also starts at +4 defense before it’s upgraded.
Trousers Of The Wild (legs Piece) Location
You can also find out more about the following: Trousers Of The WildYou are now in the Depths, north of Fire Temple. Link may literally set fire to the area if he doesn’t have flame resistance. You can get this via an armor set or elixir.
Trousers of the Wild can be found in the chest located at the top of the skeleton at the Depths. (1672, 3722, -0561):

Kayam Lightroot, located west of Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower is the closest entrance to Drenan Highlands Chasm.
As with the other items, trousers begin at +4 before upgrades.
Wild Armor Set Bonus, Effect, and Upgrade Costs
Wild Armor pieces do not provide buffs on their own. However, once you upgrade each piece at least twice and wear the whole set together, you’ll get an Attack Up set bonus.
You can upgrade the armor set at Great Fairy Fountains, but the enhancement requirements — in short, a ton of dragon materials — vary depending on which piece you’re upgrading. Farosh the electric dragon provides materials for the cap. Material from the Naydra ice dragon is used for the tunic. Dinraal’s fire dragon pieces are used for the pants. You’ll need to hunt down and grab specific pieces from the flying dragons around Hyrule in order to fully upgrade the set.
These are the material costs:
- 1-star (7 defense): 10 acorns, 2 Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s scales
- 2-star (12 defense): 5 courser bee honey, 2 Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s claws
- 3-star (18 defense): 3 energetic rhino beetles, 5 shards of Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s spike, 2 shards of Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s fang
- 4-star (28 defense): 3 star fragments, 2 Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s horns, 10 shards of Farosh/Naydra/Dinraal’s spike
It costs 6 dragon horns and 6 dragon scales to upgrade the three pieces.
