Wao-os Shrine location and walkthrough in Zelda: TOTK

Wao-os ShrineIt is possible to find a shrine inside Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of Zelda’s Hebra Mountains region.

This guide can help you to find out more about the Wao-os ShrineLocation, walk you through its puzzles and both “The White Bird’s Guidance” shrine quest and the “Lever Power”The chest puzzle The Light of Blessing.

If you speak to Laissa on the northwest side of Rito Village, she’ll tell you about a cave she found recently.

The “The White Bird’s Guidance” shrine quest she gives you asks you to look west from Van Medoh’s Perch — the stone spire Rito Village was build around — in the early morning for a single White birdResting on top of the Long shadows of Perch.

Wait for morning, and head to the very top of Van Medoh’s Perch. As the sun rises, the shadow it casts on the mountains to the west will look like a perch, and there’s a patch of snow near where it falls that looks like a white bird. That’s where you’ll find West Lake Totori Cave Wao-os shrine

Paraglide across to the white bird — it’s about one full stamina ring from Van Medoh’s Perch — and land on the snow there. There’s a Korok under the stone that makes the bird’s eye, and West Lake Totori Cave is on your left.

Continue past the pond, and you will find the entrance. Wao-os Shrine.


Wao-os Shrine and walkthrough

Wao-os ShrineLets you have fun with a catapult.

1. When you enter Wao-os Shrine, there’s a closed gate on your left next to a large bowl, sphere, and cube. On the edge of the platform you’re on, there’s a see-saw, and across a large gap, there are two targets.

2. You can use Ultrahand to glue the bowl to the end of the see-saw and then place the ball inside the bowl (but don’t attach it).

3. The metal cube should be lifted as high as possible. The green shadow will help you align it with the opposite end of the plank.

4. Drop the ball to launch it. The ball should land on the lower target.

5. Take the bowl out of the Seesaw.

6. To extend the seesaw, grab the plank that was behind the gate. Don’t put the bowl back on yet, though.

7. Grab the cube and extend the catapult.

8. Drop it and launch yourself straight-up. Look along the wall on your right to find a chest that contains a spicy elixir.

9. Attach the extended bowl to the seesaw by placing it on the floor.

10. Launch the ball from the bowl. This time, it should be able to hit a higher goal.

11. Jump into the bowl to start and then follow.

12. Grab your paraglider and fly through the exit. The Light of Blessing.
