The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still going strong on TikTok
Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild over six years ago, and somehow, I’m still learning new things about it. The game’s lasting appeal is one reason, but there are many TikTokers out there who meticulously document every detail. This was the period leading up to the publication of Take a deep breath of the wild’s sequel, Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of Zelda, in May, fans are understandably revisiting it — and on platforms like TikTok, they’re sharing their excitement and new discoveries with others.
It’s hard to find a game that feels as detailed and as alive as Take a deep breath of the wild. This game forms part of the Zelda timeline. However, it is different from other entries. It functions as a sandbox, where players can experiment with how weapons and tools work with the wider world. Many accounts focus on “did you know”-style content that highlights hyper-specific or lesser-known aspects of the game.
TikTok provides a perfect platform for all these fascinating facts and discoveries. The short-form video app is the perfect way to capture a singular impressive detail — like the fact that you can shoot mushrooms with an arrow, instead of climbing up a cliff to reach them — and present it to thousands of people.
Vaqr Gaming shares a unique fact. Take a deep breath of the wild Every day, until the sequel’s release. She told Polygon that she thinks the game is still popular because it is an “extremely polished game,” but also, it’s easy to break.
“There are so many little details the developers put in that I would have never thought of,” Vaqr Gaming told Polygon. “There are also things that [Nintendo]We never imagined we’d do it, which has lead to amazing discoveries. You can always see in the comments — even after years of playing this game, you can always learn something new!”
Some of my favorites clips are very unique and highlight characters I’d never have the courage to research. One example is when you visit the Korok Hestu in total darkness, it unlocks special dialogue. Instead of his usual intro, Hestu says, “Shaka! Shakaka! You are nekkid! I am nekkid! We are united in exposure!” Another cute example is that most characters will be scared when Link pulls out a bomb, but if you hold one up to the farmer Olkin, he will exclaim, “A blue pumpkin?!”
Zeldatendo, a user, keeps the game going by posting circulating clips featuring amazing trick shots, fan theories and other forms comedy video content. Breath of Wild. Zeldatendo, like Vaqr Gaming is counting down the days until Tears from the KingdomSpecial content The personality quiz, which tells what region you love the most, was also posted. Take a deep breath of the wild Says about you. You can also find memes or other informative content on the account.
These content creators, along with their followers, make up a larger group of fans that are committed to the original video game. Of course there are other ways to make the game more challenging. Breath of the Wild — Disciplined speedrunners have continued to break world records on YouTube, Twitch and YouTube for their fastest plays of TikTok.
It’s likely that Take a deep breath of the wildWhen Nintendo launches, content will be taken off the table. Tears from the Kingdom In May. But Vaqr Gaming told Polygon that she would probably make content for both games: “I feel like I will [keep making content for Breath of the Wild]I’m not sure, but it will be my main focus. Tears from the Kingdom.” She’s also still looking forward to trying out mods as they are released for Take a deep breath of the wildThese fan projects are not over, and will be continued even after. Tears from the Kingdom Is out.
