Microsoft Is Removing Dozens Of Games From The Xbox 360 Marketplace In February

On Tuesday, February 7, a variety of Xbox 360 Marketplace games won’t be available for purchase. The list varies by country and includes popular titles like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Left 4 Dead, and Limbo. There are 46 total games in the United States. To see the full list for the US and other countries, the Xbox Support page has every list available here. While these games will no longer be purchasable, they’ll still be playable and downloadable as long as you buy them before the deadline. This is a listing of all the US games which have left the US marketplace:

These games won’t be available for the 360. However, Microsoft clarified to Gematsu in a statement that the games will still be available at the Series X/S and Xbox One stores.  Many of these games were ported, remastered, or released on other consoles so it’s not necessarily the end. However, you still have time to download these games on your 360 digitally until February 7.

With the rise of digital game downloadings, many more games become unavailable. First, the Wii Shop channel was closed in 2019. This will be followed up by closing the 3DS and Wii U stores within a few months. Today Konami revealed plans to render their social deduction game Crimesight unplayable starting May.
