GoldenEye Bunker 1 walkthrough, including copying the GoldenEye key

Continue reading GoldenEye 007 mission 2-2, “Bunker 1,” you’ll enter a satellite control bunker to gather intel on enemy plans. It’s your job to copy the GoldenEye key, photograph the main video screen, and escape the bunker in one piece.

Depending on the difficulty setting you’re playing on, you may have to disrupt all of the surveillance equipment, get personnel to activate the computer, and download data from said computer. Tips before starting ‘Bunker 1’ in GoldenEye 007

• Keep your ammo low as you can, because tougher enemies may appear later on in the level.
• You can easily take out the enemies by allowing them to enter the control rooms and corridors.
• To ensure that no enemy flanks you, clear all rooms in front of the control room.

Bunker 1 objectives

There are up to five main mission objectives that you could complete at Bunker depending on how difficult the situation is. Here are five of the objectives:

• Obj. A: Disrupt any surveillance equipment (Secret Agent difficulty or above).
• Obj. B: Copy the GoldenEye Key and leave it alone (Agent difficulty or higher)
• Obj. Obj.
• Obj. Obj.
• Obj. Obj.

Interrupt surveillance equipment

1. Step into the room immediately and remove the guards.
2. You can destroy the alarm clock on the wall and then walk towards the door to your left. Without opening it.
3. Take aim for the right window and use your silent pistol to shoot the surveillance camera.
4. You can open the door and eliminate all enemies within the vicinity.
5. Follow the corridor to your left and take out anyone that comes up. You can easily eliminate everyone by shooting one of the guards, and then running down the hall. The other guards will funnel into the hallway — allowing you to easily pick them off.
6. Continue to the right and then wait at the entrance on your left.
7. The camera can be destroyed from the window or you may quickly get into the room to take out the camera.
8. To find another camera, exit the room and turn left.
9. You can destroy the camera to defeat three of the enemies that are at the end.
10. Continue down the hall until you get to the door at your left.
11. This room is full of hostiles.
12. Continue to the left and descend the steps until you reach the control room. You will need to kill a lot more guards as there are many enemies in this area.
13. You can wait near the entry to the control area and let the enemies come to you. To quickly clear the room, take them one at a time. There is an NPC in this room that you’ll need later on, so The NPC should not be shot.
14. To find the final camera and one more enemy, go diagonally up the steps.
15. To complete the mission, eliminate the enemy and disable the camera Objective A.

1. Turn left to go back up the steps and enter the command area. Go to your inventory and switch to the camera. Switch to the camera by opening your start menu. Scroll to the camera, and click it.
2. Take a photo of the large screen by pressing the fire button. You are done! Objective E.

You can copy the GoldenEye key, but you must leave the original

1. Keep your command room open, and then move to the console with the computer.
2. To grab your prize, get up on the table GoldenEye Key.
3. Click the fire button to activate the Key Analyzer from your inventory.
4. Fire again to toss the key away — completing Ziel B.

1. Find Boris (he’s the NPC that you didn’t shoot earlier). Either he’d still be there or he might have fled the entrance to the top. Be aware of the two enemies waiting at the top if he runs up the stairs. While you are trying to save Boris, make sure that you don’t shoot the enemies.
2. Boris can be contacted by a gun and he will take you to the mainframe terminal. You will be alerted by an alarm, which will notify more enemies of your location. Data Analyzer in your inventory while Boris is “disabling the security.” This step completes Objective C.
3. Look at the mainframe terminal and press the fire button with the data analyzer equipped to download the data from the computer — completing Ziel D.
4. Fighting off the soldiers who are coming in. They are slightly more difficult to defeat because they have greater health than others.
5. Once all of the enemies have been defeated in the control room, you can return there and then go through the front door.
6. Bunker 1 can be completed by going up the stairs.
