Dragon Ball Super Is Back In Fortnite With New Piccolo And Gohan Skins

Yesterday, Fortnite’s official Twitter account announced that another Dragon Ball Super partnership was in the works for battle royale. Now it is live.

This brings you two new quests, with their rewards, and also a skin that can be used by Piccolo as well as Gohan. The Item Shop sells both, and they come with the appropriate accessories. At a later date, the Dragon Ball Super costumes and accessories will be available in the Item Shop. 

The Son Gohan outfitComes with Gohan’s Cape Back BlingThis can only be worn with the outfit, but it is also possible to purchase Gohan’s Beast Axe Pickaxe and the Capsule No. 576 Glider seperately. The Piccolo outfit comes with Piccolo’s Cape and Turban Back Bling (can only be used with this outfit) and Piccolo’s Demon Symbol Back Bling, but you can also purchase Piccolo’s Handheld House PickaxeAnd the Red Ribbon Army Aircraft Glider. Separately. Piccolo outfit features the built-in Charging Up Emote to change into the Power Awakening version of Piccolo (this version can also be selected in the locker).

“In the v23.30 update, Son Gohan and Piccolo from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie make their Fortnite debut, the Kamehameha attack item,And the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item are out of the vault, and Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back,” an Epic Games press release reads. The Kamehameha, Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun), or Kamehameha items will drop from the sky into capsules in Battle Royale/Zero Build matches.

With the Kamehameha launch a destructive energy beam and the Nimbus Cloud, (Kintoun) take flight all around the Island. As the Storm draws in, the frequency of capsules will rise. This will make each match primetime for an exciting showdown. 

These two items will continue to be in the standard Battle Royale or Zero Build match until v23.40. 

The Dragon Ball Adventure Island is now in Creative Mode, so there are no battle royales. Like it did in August, this island features Goku’s House, Kami’s Palace, the Room of Spirit & Time, and Beerus’ Planet. Additionally, the island features a Tenkaichi Budokai open PvP arena where you can show off your skills. 

Start today and complete the Weekly Quest, which is Dragon Ball themed. Gohan Beast sprayYou will be able to complete another Weekly Quest, which you can do on the island on February 7th, in order to unlock The Secret. The game now has five Reality Augments thanks to this update. 

• Rift-jector seatWhenever your Shield fails, you will rift to the Sky with a brief delay.

• Icy Slide: Get a brief icy speed boost after sliding. 
• HarvesterBig Bush Bombs will be dropped on Foliage that is destroyed. You can also eat more forageables. 
• Mythic MunitionGet a Mythic Pistol 

Another aspect of the update is that Weekly Quests no longer expire at the end of a week. All Chapter 4 Weekly Quests from Season 1 will be available throughout the season.
