New Trailer For HBO’s The Last Of Us Gives Us Our Best Look Yet At The Show

HBO just released the trailer for The Last of Us. The series is an HBO TV show that’s based upon the Naughty dog game. It looks amazing (and very, very sad). 

The premiere footage of The Last of Us was shown back in August. HBO slowly revealed more details about the series. Today’s trailer offers us the longest glimpse yet of Joel (played by Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey). Both continue to embody the spirit of Joel and Ellie in the games well and you can watch new footage of their scenes in the newest trailer below: 

You can clearly see that the trailer has Joel and Ellie in it more. However, it gives us new perspectives on clickers, bloaters, and even David. Although it may be someone else like David’s henchmen, it is possible. We also see Bill and Frank, and this trailer seems to tease that we’ll be getting a lot more of their relationship in the show than we did in the game. 

HBO Max premieres The Last of Us on January 15th
