Amouranth says ‘life is better,’ and is streaming less hot tub content

Amouranth (Kaitlyn Silagusa), after taking a much-deserved vacation from Twitch shared a thread on Twitter about how her streaming categories had changed since she returned.

Amouranth claimed that her husband had been manipulating her and controlling her finances. The next day she shared an update via Twitch stream, where she said she was safe, had regained control of her finances, was seeking legal counsel, and that her husband was “not here, he’s getting help.” She then shared her plans to take a break from the platform, and said she was looking forward to streaming on her own terms.

Amouranth posted stats about her streaming habits in a series tweets, Nov. 27. Notably, she said “90 days ago” she spent 50%+ of her streaming time making hot tub content — it’s now sub 10%. (In a previous stream, Amouranth said her husband had seen the hot tub meta “as an opportunity,”And told her to keep making such videos.) Instead, she’s spent more of her time streaming games like Overwatch 2And Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The thread she tweeted, “I played more overwatch than I did hot tub. That’s NEVER HAPPENED.”

Amouranth, who has returned from her long-term work commitments, is now able to chat with others via Just Chatting. Amouranth filmed her own horseback riding stream on October 18. (In a prior stream, said she was looking forward to “seeing her horses.”) Later in the month she streamed visiting a pumpkin patch, playing Overwatch 2Before returning to the stream for another one in November, A few new videos have been added to her ASMR YouTube channel.

Amouranth is a popular creator of content on social media platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and OnlyFans. According to Streams Charts, she is the most watched Twitch streamer of all time this year.

On Twitter, Amouranth also responded to the idea that this was simply a “rebrand,” sharing that “life is better.”
