Exoprimal Stomps Back Into Action With New Trailer

Capcom today revealed new information about Exoprimal at its summer showcase. The action/shooting title allows players to control exosuit-clad warriors against rampaging dinos. An out-of-control AI called Leviathan is unleashing these dinosaurs through rifts in the sky, and forcing humans to fight them off in intricate (and frankly inexplicable) wargames – usually at high risk of death and destruction of urban landscapes.

Exoprimal’s major event, Dino Survival is where five people join together to form a team and face off against each other in order to accomplish very specific goals.

These mission objectives can be dynamic and varied. Dinosaur Cull asks that you hunt one dinosaur and eliminate it. VTOL Defense requires that you protect an airplane on the ground from being attacked by charging reptiles. Data Key Security is an “escort”-style mission in which your team must transport a specific asset from one area to the other. Omega Charge gives players access to the Omega Hammer, which can clear swarms. As you may guess, Energy Taker is about gaining more energy than your opponent team.

Exoprimal has a mix of sequences that you direct engage with enemy players and moments in which you join forces to eliminate dangerous threats. No matter who you’re fighting against, you’ll earn XP to power up both your player character and their exosuit levels.

Capcom announced that Exoprimal would soon be participating in a closed network testing, which will allow gamers to experience the game. If you’re interested, you can sign up at exoprimal.com.

Exoprimal hopes to have a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S releases, as well as a PS4 and Xbox One release, by 2023.
