Ghostbusters VR is another take on the co-op ghost-hunting genre
Meta has announced a Ghostbusters coop game, published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality. The game was developed by nDreams. A trailer was released alongside the announcement. It shows a cast of original characters visiting an abandoned factory to hunt ghosts. Predictably, there’s a ghoulie about, and they need to stop it from wreaking havoc with their gadgets and proton packs. There’s also time for a little bit of banter in the trailer, which is appropriate for the source material.
It is the second Ghostbusters cooperative title that has been revealed recently. In March we were first informed about it. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, This is a traditional, co-op video game that can be played on both PC and consoles. There’s a lot of promise in a VR version of Ghostbusters, and similar games like indie horror title PhasmophobiaThese have been extremely successful.
Players can play the game solo if they wish, but they may also choose to play alongside up to three other friends. It seems that the game was designed to be played with a group of people and their strategies. Ghostbusters VRDoes not have an immediate release window.
