April PlayStation Plus Lineup Reportedly Leaked, Includes SpongeBob Remaster And More

According to reports, the April 2022 PlayStation Plus lineup was leaked. It includes Hood: Outlaws & Legends as its main PlayStation 5 title alongside two PlayStation 4 games: Slay The Spire and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. 

This information comes via French forum Dealabs user Billbil-kun who, over the last seven months, has leaked nearly every month the PS Plus lineup, according to a report by Eurogamer. While billbil-kun’s accuracy has been good in the past it is important to remember that this leak is not an official wording and there is always the possibility of this lineup being incorrect. However, subscribers have an interesting lineup ahead of them for April if it’s correct. 

Hood: Outlaws & Legends

Hood: Outlaws & Legends was released less than a year ago, on May 10, and it’s a gritty take on the classic tales of Robin Hood and others, in the form of team-based multiplayer combat. Two teams representing different classes will battle for medieval riches. Each team has four character archetypes: hunter, brawler and mystic. They also have plenty of customisation options. In short, Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a medieval, multiplayer heist game. 

Slay the Spire

Deckbuilding game Slay the Spire, which is also a rogue-like deckbuilding card game, is one of our favorite card-based games. It lets you create fantasy archetypes using cards. You can also brave various dungeons. Every run you are inspired to play new cards, build new decks and improve on reworked techniques to climb the titular spire. SpongeBob SquarePants’ Battle For Bikini Bottom

SpongeBob SquarePants Battle For Bikini Bottom is a June 2020 remaster from the original SpongeBob SquarePants Battle For Bikini Bottom. It was first published in 2003. The classic mascot platformer has light combat and lots of collectibles. You’re also likely to find a few Krabby Pattys in Rehydrated, which is widely recognized as being one of SpongeBob’s best games. You can also download it from Steam Deck if your device is compatible. 

If you haven’t yet, add last month’s PS Plus games, which include Ghostrunner, Ark: Survival Evolved, Team Sonic Racing, and a bonus in the form of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. These games should be available till March 31, and, if the April lineup looks like the previous month, you can download the PS Plus titles starting on Friday, April 1.
