Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom duplication glitch patched out by Nintendo

A new patch for Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of ZeldaReleased Thursday, the patch fixes a few glitches that allowed players to duplicate items in Switch. Version 1.1.2 of Tears of KingdomThe game was updated on 25 May and it appears that the majority of bug fixes are minor. However, players have discovered multiple duplicate glitches do not work anymore.

Polygon test Tears of Kingdom’s latest patch and confirmed those findings. For now, it’s no longer possible to duplicate weapons, items, and other materials through previously known exploits.

Prior to version 1.1.2, players had devised multiple methods for duplicating items — including rare, high-value items like diamonds — by using quick inventory switching, the game’s paraglider, and shield hopping. These exploits work only with older versions of the game, 1.1.1 and below. The Nintendo Switch system allows players to update their games.
