Zelda amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom will customize Link’s glider
It will be a great help to have a collection of The Legend of Zelda amiibo. Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of Zelda. Nintendo included a note Wednesday night in its Nintendo Direct news release to highlight its latest. Tears from the KingdomNot only can you link your amiibo to the game, but it is also possible to let others know that an older version of your amiibo may still be functional in the future.
Specifically, The Legend of Zelda amiibo will be used to change the look of Link’s parasail and grant different materials and weapons. These designs are based on the amiibo and feature motifs that correspond to each of the games. Nintendo shared four amiibo and the parasails they’ll unlock: the new Link in Tears from the KingdomFollow the Link Majora’s MaskLink, riding a horse The Wild BreathZelda and Loftwing, Skyward Sword. Nintendo has released more than two dozen amiibo based off the Legend of Zelda series — tons of different variations on Link and Zelda, but featuring other characters and creatures, too, like Ganondorf, Daruk, boboblin, Mipha, and more. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed whether the feature will work with AllThe franchise also includes amiibo. We’ve reached out to Nintendo for clarification, and will update this post when it responds.
The Wild Breath has amiibo functionality compatible with most, if not all, of the franchise’s scannable toys. You can use each to unlock different chests which contain equipment, weapons and other goodies. You can get two of the most special summons on the amiibo with the Super Smash Bros. Link amiibo to the Wolf Link Amiibo Twilight Princess. Super Smash Bros. Link spawns Epona, Link’s horse in previous games, while Wolf Link pulls up the character as a fighting companion. Nintendo hasn’t said whether amiibo will have this functionality yet in Tears from the Kingdom, but there’s likely to be some unique surprises.
