Your Foot Will Save The World In Soccer Story, An Open-World RPG Coming To Console And PC

PanicBarn, the developer, and No More Robots, the publisher are working together to create a comic-style open-world role playing game (RPG) where you play as a soccer player. Soccer Story will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC later in the year.

Soccer Story’s role begins one year following an incident called The Calamity that apparently made soccer illegal. You are chosen by a magic soccer ball to become the “Savior of Soccer”, a role which will help heal the entire world.

Soccer Story by No More Robots offers over 15 hours worth of gaming through side missions and story-based missions. These tasks will see you battling toddlers, old-age seniors, and sharks.

Soccer Story also features an optional single-player campaign. Soccer Story has a four player local multiplayer mode. Each team will be led by an animal Captain.

SideBar Games did not develop Soccer Story, although it appears to have drawn inspiration from the excellent Golf Story title.
