Yakuza 8 Screenshots Possibly Revealed In Studio Tour
Mikuru, the MMA fighter, was delighted to have taken a tour of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. This included footage of Haruki Satomi, Sega’s president (who led the tour), as well as some Yakuza screenshots. Asakura could have captured images from Yakuza 8/The Like a Dragon II sequel inadvertently, but the truth is still a mystery without additional context. Watch the video.
Like a Dragon’s protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, and his friends appear in multiple screenshots. His afro days have passed for the charming hero, who now has straight hair and a ponytail. Based on a FamitsuReport that Nibel has been translated (see below), Yakuza 8 is held in a new place, and Mikuru asakura appears.
These offscreen screenshots show Yakuza 8’s first glimpse (part of an exclusive YouTube video).
Article says that there will be a new city in the game. Ichiban’s hair is tied instead of a long afro.
Mirai asakura is a MMA fighter/YouTuber who will likely be attending Y8.

Ichiban was a true gentleman in all cases. Jeff Cork reviewed Like a Dragon, and said:
While “Like a Dragon’s gameplay is a change from previous titles, I find those new changes to be refreshing. The Yakuza method was a good one, but it wasn’t my favourite. The Yakuza Game Dragon is filled with enough familiar elements that it feels almost like it’s a Yakuza video game. It was a wonderful experience, and I appreciated the new identity that this entry helped to establish. We are looking forward to the next great step on the series’ journey.
Ichiban’s next adventure excites me regardless of whether or not it is a franchise entry.
