Hello Xbox Insiders. Xbox Insiders enrolled in PC Gaming Insiders Preview will receive a brand new Xbox App for Windows and Game Bar App! Details:

PC Gaming Prerelease Products – New Versions:

Xbox App version: 2310.1001.69.0

• Available: 5:00 p.m. PT – October 6th, 2023    

Play Bar Version: 6.123.10031.0

• You Can Get Help Now: 5:00 p.m. PT – October 6th, 2023    

Windows Gaming products currently available for prerelease:

Gaming Services version released: 15.91.24001.0

• Released: 5:00 p.m. PT – September 25th, 2023

Bug fixes

Xbox App

• The issue has been resolved.
• Fixes several problems with text that is not visible when in the light mode
• Fixes an issue that caused users to only hear the party chat when they had their Game Bar open.
• Fixed an Issue where conversations might appear as “unread” even after opening them
• Fixed an issue where you might hit an infinite “Connecting” error when trying to join a party.
• A user may not have been able launch links from chat.

• A user may not have been able to connect a “push-to talk” button.
• In rare instances, users could not open their profiles. This issue has been fixed.
• Fix a problem whereby the notification tab could not be displayed
• Fixed various UI problems around contrast

Problems that have been reported:

Game Bar

The team has identified a problem where users may not be able navigate to specific settings within Game Bar. They are investigating.

The Xbox App might not open when selecting “See Rewards in the Xbox App”
