Xbox Insider Release Notes – Delta (2310.231001-2200)

Hello Xbox Insiders. A new Xbox Update preview is coming soon to the Delta Ring. It’s important we note that some updates made in these preview OS builds include background improvements that ensure a quality and stable build for Xbox consoles.

We continue to post these release notes, even when the noticeable changes to the UI are minimal, so you’re aware when updates are coming to your device. You can find the full details below.

System Update Details:

• OS Version Released: XB_FLT_2310ZN25398.2468.231001-2200
• Available: 4 p.m. PT – October 5, 2023
• Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – October 6, 2023

The Fixes Have Been Implemented

The following fixes were implemented in this build, thanks to Xbox’s engineers.

The system is a

• The console has been updated to correctly reflect all local languages.
  • Please Note:: Users participating in Preview may see “odd” text across the console, for more information go here.

There are known issues

It is our understanding that some of these issues were listed in the previous Xbox Insider release notes. These items aren’t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution.

Audio

• There have been reports that users are experiencing audio problems intermittently across all dashboards, apps, and games. Be sure to have your latest firmware update for TVs and other devices if you are experiencing issues. If you’re unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
  • Please Note:: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please submit feedback via Report a Problem immediately with the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option, then select the category “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues”. Please include as many details as possible.
    • When was the problem first raised?
    • Is the audio only in your game/app, or is it also system audio?
    • Is it possible to fix the problem by changing the format of the audio? How did the previous and new formats compare?
    • Is rebooting the system a solution?
    • What’s included in your setup? Equipment, layout, etc.
    • Please provide any other information that you may have to help reproduce the issue.

Installation

• Microsoft Store is stuck on 100% during updates/installations. We’re investigating these reports. You can report this issue via the “Report a problem” link if it happens to you.
  • WorkaroundIf the Microsoft Store was recently opened, close it by selecting Quit from the menu button. Then, stop and restart the update. If this behavior continues, you can restart the console using the Power Center. Find out how to reset or power cycle the Xbox.

Xbox Controller Keyboard Mapping

• After quitting or restarting the console, your changes will appear if you make any keyboard language adjustments while using the Xbox Accessories application.

Manage Queue

• When the queue is empty, the border around “When games and apps are installing, you’ll see them here” may appear to extend off-screen. This is being fixed.

Networking

• We’re investigating reports that the console might not be able to connect with their network at boot. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue via Report a Problem as soon as you’re able.
• WorkaroundIt may take a few minutes for your console to connect. If your console still hasn’t connected, restart your Xbox from the Power Center or the guide. Find out how to power cycle or restart your Xbox here.

Be sure to use Report a Problem to keep us informed of your issue. We may not be able to respond to everyone, but the data we’ll gather is crucial to finding a resolution.
