Xbox Games With Gold taps another two for February

Xbox continues to observe the 10th year of its free games catalogue by sliding further into obscurity with each month’s releases. These are the February 2023 pairs available. The King Guts N Goals Both for Xbox One (compatible to Xbox Series X).

The KingIronOak Games has a month-long sale of ‘The IronOak Games Game,’ which is from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28. Developed in Unity, it’s a real-time strategy game that incorporates turn-based combat and procedural generation into its gameplay. The game was released on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in 2018. It has strong reviews on Steam. The King It is not surprising that this is a timely choice, since a sequel will be released sometime in the next year.

Guts ‘N Goals, From February 16th to March 15, In October 2021, it was launched. Developed entirely in GameMaker, it’s ostensibly a soccer game where players beat up their opponents in turn-based combat, while avoiding traps and other hazards familiar to strategy games.
