Xbox Games With Gold free games for October 2022: Microsoft cutting back

Microsoft now offers subscribers only two Xbox 360 games per month. This is in addition to the Xbox Live Games With Gold titles that were removed from Xbox 360. And if you don’t recognize October’s titles, well, you’re not alone.

Games With Gold will give away next month Windbound, which Polygon called a “Moana-meets-Breath-of-the-Wild survival adventure,” when it was announced (and launched) in 2020.

The second is Bomber Crew: Deluxe EditionThis game, despite the cutesy-poo characters, generic box art and general theme, actually offers something new and more substantive. In the strategy simulation, the players must keep an aircraft from going to war (and the crew safe) by following a series of difficult missions. In each harrowing raid, players get to know the personal histories of their crew — more incentive to keep them all alive. If nothing else, you can imagine you’re aboard a B-17 with Kevin Costner and Keifer Sutherland, in Steven Spielberg’s unforgettable Amazing Stories The episode was broadcast in 1985.

Both Windbound Bomber Crew: Deluxe Edition These Xbox One games are playable on Xbox Series X. Windbound Available from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 Bomber Crew Available Oct. 16 through Nov. 15.

In addition to these games, subscribers can still get three of September’s Games With Gold: Gods Will Fall Xbox One and Portal 2 Xbox 360 until September 30th; Double Kick Heroes Xbox One available until October 15.
