Xbox Design Lab Brings Back Rubberized Grips, Metallic Finishes, and More

Our customization program, Xbox Design Lab was reintroduced earlier in the year. It offers many ways you can create your custom Xbox Wireless Controller. Over a hundred thousand unique designs have been created by the community.

Today, we’re excited to announce that rubberized grips and metallic finishes are returning to Xbox Design Lab along with new color customization options, giving you even more combinations to choose from.

In addition to all the original customization options available in Xbox Design Lab, we’ve added:

  • You can find black rubberized grips on the sides and back cases for more control and comfort.
  • There are 19 new metallic finishes for D-Pads/Triggers: Sterling Silver and Pewter Silver. Gunmetal Silver and Abyss Black.
  • New color options available for controller parts
    • Dragonfly Blue
    • Nocturnal Green, formerly known as Military Green, has been changed to Nocturnal Green. This gives it a deeper earthy color.
    • Velocity Green is now available in Electric Green. This brings it into line with the Xbox classic color.

Prices start at $69.99, with additional options available.

The controllers are made-to-order and shipped within 3-4 weeks. You can also customize the body, back, case, Dpad, bumpers and triggers of the controller. A 16 character message can be added to laser engraving.
