Xbox Becomes the Official Gaming Partner of the French Football Federation

We’re thrilled today to announce an exciting partnership between Xbox, the French Football Federation and Xbox. The Official Gaming Partner of the French Men’s and Women’s National Football Teams. Our mission at Xbox is to share the joy of gaming with everyone. Millions upon billions connect through games just like football. This partnership will bring to life our core message – Power Your Dreams – which not only celebrate the values of diversity and inclusion shared by Xbox and the FFF, but spurs the imagination when two world-class teams come together, empowering football fans, associations, amateur clubs, women’s football, and those who love gaming, alike.

French Football Federation was established in 1912 to oversee and develop the high-level amateur and professional practice of this most beloved French sport. Home to the reigning Men’s World Cup Champions and the #4 ranked Women’s Team, the French Football Federation is a remarkable organization, one which has shown the same will and ambition as Xbox has had, bringing together fans and players around a common passion, while respecting their differences.

Xbox FC: a Boost for Amateur Football

As part of this partnership between Xbox and the FFF, we are introducing the Xbox FC initiative, a program which aims to strengthen the FFF’s support for amateur football. This program provides new equipment and training facilities to help young players achieve their dreams. Renovated locker rooms and a gaming area will be available to the selected clubs. The equipment is also FFF and Xbox branded. Xbox and FFF have committed to maintaining these facilities and ensuring these clubs receive additional programs over time.

We are proud to partner with them in order to drive the program. Sakina Karchaoui, member of the French Women’s National Team.  Originally from Miramas, near Marseille, she took her first steps in football with local club Montpellier HSC before going on to play for Olympique Lyonnais. Sakina plays left-back at Paris Saint-Germain, a powerhouse club. She’s committed to improving the quality of amateur football by providing better resources and conditions.

Xbox Day: A Day for Inclusion and Diversity

Xbox and the FFF have joined forces to celebrate both football and video gaming. Kadidiatou diani DomingoClairefontaine, May 21st for Xbox Day

As a member of the French Women’s National Team, Kadidiatou discovered football at an early age at ES Vitry. Later, she joined the Juvisy club and the French Women’s Football Pole. She is a Paris Saint-Germain striker. As a community activist, she was appointed in 2020 as an ambassador with Plan International France to promote sport as a tool for education and girls’ emancipation. Kadidiatou diani will represent Xbox Day.

Pierre-Alexis Bizot (better known as Domingo) is an established French streamer and host. Since 2019, he has hosted his own talk show on Twitch called “Popcorn”. He is passionate about sport and has organised sporting events like EscapeParticipated in the Paris 2021 Marathon as a participant in a virtual bicycle race. 

The following activities are planned for Xbox Day:

• Clairefontaine is the French Football Home. This exclusive tour will take you around Clairefontaine.
• Unisex Football Tournament
• Finale of the eCup FFF
• Learning about Cécifoot (A football game designed for people who are visually impaired)
• All-inclusive workshops with experts that will help participants develop good gaming habits.
