Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022: All the big announcements

Microsoft hosted its Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, curating more than 90 minutes’ worth of news, trailers, and announcements from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and third-party studios. That’s including Activision Blizzard, which Microsoft intends to acquire in a $68.7 billion deal.

Microsoft made a statement that all the games featured in this showcase were playable within one year. Are you unable to attend the showcase? Here are all the announcements coming out of Microsoft’s big event.

Microsoft launched its Xbox and Bethesda games Showcase Redfall, Arkane Austin’s co-op, open-world horror game set in Massachusetts. A longer overview of the broadcast was featured. Redfall’s vampire-shooting gameplay and four playable characters. RedfallIn 2023, it will be launched

Sea of Thieves

Hideo Kojima’s next game project will be in collaboration with Xbox Game Studios, the esteemed developer himself announced. Neither Kojima nor Microsoft shared any more details than that, unfortunately — other than it being a “completely new game.”

Starfield

Starfield got an extended gameplay trailer during Microsoft’s event. Todd Howard from Bethesda was present to showcase the character creation and space gameplay. The results are impressive and ambitious. The spacecraft can be built and its crew selected!
