World of Warcraft: Dragonflight announced during Blizzard livestream

Azeroth is taking the skies into the air with its heroes World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Dragonflight. Blizzard announced World of Warcraft DragonflightTuesday was the livestream, which included an expansion preview.

The expansion’s announcement included a cinematic trailer that gave players a look at Azeroth’s history, before revealing how dragons returned to the modern world to vanquish an ancient threat.

Dragonflight will put Azeroth’s Dragon Aspects at the center of the Warcraft story for the first time since Cataclysm In 2010, it was back. The Aspects have sought the help of the world’s mortal heroes in order to restore their powers and to stop a newly emerging evil. Players will travel to five zones within the Dragon Isles in order to accomplish this. Dragonriding is a method that allows players to navigate through the Dragon Isles by flying. It seems like a combination of flying and gliding.

New expansions will add the Dracthyr race: shapeshifting dragons capable of changing their form into both humanoid or draconic versions. The Dracthyr will only be able to play as the Evoker, a new class that’s also being introduced in Dragonflight. Only Dracthyr characters can choose the Evoker class.

There are two options for the Evoker: Devastation or Survival. World of Warcraft’s first new ranged damage-dealing spec since the game’s release, and Preservation, a healer. You can choose to join the Alliance or Horde. The Dracthyr will be able to start at their special area of starting, which is higher than the other classes and starting races.

In addition to these newer features, Dragonflight Many smaller updates will also be included that fans will enjoy. Work orders are a major upgrade for professions. This will make it easier to find other players and create new items. Blizzard has also been upgrading World of Warcraft’s basic user interface for this new expansion, though they didn’t preview much of what we can expect from it.

Perhaps the largest systematic addition in the expansion is the game’s new talent trees. It is similar to the original talent trees. World of WarcraftBlizzard now offers players many options to personalize their classes in a variety of ways.

Dragonflight does not have a release date yet, but Blizzard said to expect news of the expansion’s alpha sometime in the near future.
