Windjammers 2 Is Coming to Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass

This is an exciting announcement! Windjammers 2.Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass (PC or Xbox) will get the new experience! The ultimate arcade experience Windjammers 2. is best enjoyed with friends and we’re proud to bring it to the whole Xbox community. On top of that, we’re also making the online cross platform between Xbox and Steam and Game Pass PC users! You can have more than one!

But what is the point? Windjammers 2. Exactly?

Perhaps you haven’t heard of it before. Windjammers before and it’s okay (it’s not, but I forgive you), so let me tell you more about it. The original Windjammers This is an arcade game by Japanese studio Data East that was released on Neo Geo and arcade machines in 1994. To put it simply, it’s a top down frisbee game with colorful characters, super moves, strategy and lots of mindgame.

It’s basically Pong mixed with Street Fighter, and it’s awesome.

We’ve been huge fans of the game at Dotemu and that is why we wanted to bring it back with a brand new episode. We’ve worked very hard, spent several months retro-engineering the game in order to reproduce the exact and original Windjammers Gaming and experience in Windjammers 2.. However, Windjammers 2. is not a remake, it’s a brand new game with new fully hand-drawn graphics, new sick gameplay mechanics, new kickass characters, new stages, and more! Talking about new characters, we’re happy to reveal today the final two characters joining the game: Jordi Costa and Sammy Ho, bringing the roster to a total of 12 jammers from around the World.

Why Is it So Great?

What was the result? Windjammers so special is that it’s easy to learn (just like Pong), but hard to master (just like Street Fighter), making it an amazing and exciting competitive game. The real competition is the one I am referring to, as there are tournaments across the globe, and even an online league. You can, of course. Windjammers 2. follows its big brother’s steps and is keeping its competitive roots alive! The game now features new gameplay mechanics. Windjammers 2.This gives you a fresh perspective on the gameplans and strategies that other jammers might use to win.

You can defend while your opponent stays on their goal line. To have your disc dropped next to the net, use the dropshot.

Perhaps they are more interested in staying closer to your net, putting tremendous pressure on you. It’s possible to lob the ball over their heads or smash it into the net at the other side of the court. They won’t see it coming and will have a hard time catching it in time!

This is just two of many possible scenarios that could occur in-game. The possibilities are limitless. This is the beauty of Windjammers The game’s players are what makes it unique.
