Wield The Power of The Court in Crusader Kings III Royal Court DLC

Alongside armored knights or Viking raiders, the king’s court endures as one of the most popular public images of the Middle Ages. The image of the royal throne atop a hall decorated with tapestries, surrounded by peasants or petitioners demanding justice, or giving gifts in order to gain favor from the king, is one that we can all recall.

Royal Court would be a great starting point to expand into Crusader Kings III, our strategy role-playing game based on the Medieval era. The expansion places players in the role of royalty, facing the same problems as a king, emperor, or other royal figures, and leveraging their grandeur to achieve diplomatic or strategic goals.

First of all, it’s important to note that the royal court in Royal Court is aspirational. The court can only be held by player characters who have the title of king, emperor or higher. It is meant to serve as an incentive and distinguishing feature for these titles. However, lower-ranked characters are able to pay respects at their court.

Your court can be a great asset to your character or realm. In addition to the role-playing element of making decisions when a vassal, courtier, or other person asks for your favor, decorating your court, with relics or artifacts can give bonuses to your character, your realm or your dynasty.

The new feature in “Royal Court” allows you to decorate your court with artifacts. Crusader Kings III for console – Inventory and Inspirations.

It’s a bit like playing a classic role-playing video game. Your character is a model that you can customize with armor, weapons, jewelery, etc. to enhance their power or appearance. How do you obtain these items? Finding special people is the obvious answer.

You can get inspired when, as a ruler, you engage a skilled craftsman to produce something for you or your castle. This can include a unique tapestry or weapon, as well as a shining crown. These items, like those mentioned earlier, will give you and your domain bonuses. Sometimes master artisans will come to you and tell you that they have an idea for a project. They may ask you to hire them. You will get better crafters the more your Royal Court impresses you (better accommodation, better food, and better people). The craftsmen can create better weapons and decorations that can increase your Royal Court’s reputation.

Royal Court highlights one of the strengths of Crusader Kings III. Even if you choose to play as a personal story of a specific family, all of the seemingly minor cosmetic decisions – decoration choices, money invested in your court, selecting which relics to put on display – can have repercussions for your realm. It’s like the old nursery rhyme about the horseshoe nail – small things can have big consequences.

This is largely due to the inability of many people to understand. Crusader Kings III, gold isn’t the only currency that matters. Gold is a must. Soldiers are expensive, as well as titles, bribes, ransoms and remuneration. It is important to have gold.

Gold is a good investment for other currencies in Royal Court. For example, it can increase your odds of being successful in certain areas. As your grandeur grows, you will gain certain benefits from any gold spent to boost your grandeur. If you run a fashion-focused court (perhaps in Milan), a higher grandeur could mean an impressive Prestige bonus. A court that emphasizes good servants can add power to your spymaster’s schemes. If you have enough grandeur in your court, it is possible to reduce bad food’s effects or activate special council actions.

The Royal Court can be more than just a place where you act out medieval dramas. The court, if managed properly, can become the focal point of your long-term theme. The court can be used as an activity center in the short term if it is decorated with artifacts, relics and other items that will enhance your current skill.

Royal Court, the first major expansion of Royal Court. Crusader Kings IIIWe hope that you will find this a fun and challenging way to create the most famous royal family in history.
